The Walking Data and Technology

Most people have used their fingerprints, facial recognition, or even specific movement patterns to gain access for something like identifying, verifying, and purchasing in this all-digital world. However have you noticed that by doing so part of your organs and DNA are used as important yet powerful data to other third parties?

The technological advancement of this era continuously develops innovative solutions and now it is no longer chained to only physical objects or things. In fact, humans are one of the huge contributions to these important innovations, and that tech is living inside of all of us called data. The term data is used to describe everything we see, create, and own is a collection of information, descriptions, and facts obtained through observation of human knowledge. And is not only stored digitally on the Internet – data is everywhere revolving around us and inside of us. Yes… you are the living DATA!

So how is data living inside the human body? Well, simply humans are special species with every individual having its particular DNA inside every one of us so we have our own unique code embedded to our data that is linked with our DNA and facial features. For instance, how your phone could recognize your face as its owner but not others, and how your fingerprints could be used to identify with your local bank details. Hence, humans are walking data and technology with the most powerful tool and valuable asset we could own.

The One-of-A-Kind Biometrics Tech of Human

The data we use on a daily basis for unlocking your phones, doing digital transactions, or verifying your identity is called Biometrics – an advanced layer to many personal and enterprise security systems that uses your unique biology and behaviors to identify people. Biometrics technology has been adopted not only on digital platforms of devices like your phone or laptop, but it is a crucial advancement in modern cybersecurity as a powerful solution.

Biometrics techs focus on reducing risks of conventional passwords that are prone to weakness and breach issues and instead it aims to answer these problems by linking proof-of-identity to human bodies and behavior patterns such as voice recognition, heart-rate sensors, and iris scans. Because data is inside of every human – biometrics are always with you and cannot be lost, forgotten, and stolen.

The Rise of Microchip Implant Technology

Well if you have just learned about the data that are living inside of you, now this one might change the perception of millions with its revolutionized inventions. It’s data living inside of you but “implanted”. A human microchip implant is an electronic device implanted under the skin. It is designed to speed up daily routines and make lives more convenient – accessing places, using digital readers and payments, and having everything at one place. The microchip inside your body acts as your own data such as ID, wallet, keys, phones, and cards.

The rising trend of microchip implants are essential technology under your skin that merge with the human bodies. This type of implant uses a tech-based on a unique number that is linked to information contained in an external database, such as identification, medical history, and contact information. It also heavily relies on an IoTnetwork where the use of the chips is an extension of the concept and is connected with the Internet.

For many people, the idea of implanting foreign objects under the skin might still be arguable as controversy circulating on breach and misuse of biometrics tech is still happening. However, many institutions and countries do wish they could implement this system to have an all-in-one data inside every human, creating a more efficient living. But there’s also some parts that the thought of inserting a piece of tech is radical and unethical. So, do you think you would consider implanting one soon?

Not convincing enough? Here’s some news video we could pulled off from the internet on: In Sweden, a vaccine passport on a microchip implant
